* Cedar and Cypress are good for siding on your house, but they are much softer than teak and make lightweight, fragile furniture that will splinter and is easily blown about
* Oak, Pine or Maple will begin to rot, split and crack, weathering to an unsightly dark, uneven grey within the first year

Acceptance

Acceptance by Teak Tropical Inc. of any order from the customer will be subject to the terms and conditions of sale and the customer shall be deemed to have purchased it with the full knowledge of the terms and conditions.

Prices

All prices are FOB Brooksville , Florida unless otherwise stated in writing and are subject to change without notice.

Terms

All orders will be paid in as follows: 50% deposit is required at the time of order and the balance will be charged at the time of shipping/delivery. Any other arrangements made at time of sale must be put in writing and signed by both parties. Orders must be paid in full before shipping. Forms of payment accepted are: check, credit card: MasterCard/Visa/Discover or American Express, or cash.

Delivery

“Curbside Delivery Information” via common carrier. 

·          This product ships to the 48 contiguous states only.  Estimated delivery time is within 3 – 4 weeks.

·          “Curbside Delivery” provides delivery made to the curb at the end of your driveway. It is not the driver’s responsibility to bring the freight into house, garage, etc.  Drivers do not assist with unpacking, set-up or clean up.

·          Carrier will call to schedule a delivery appointment.  Appointments are available during normal business hours and span a 4-hour period.  Please include a daytime phone number in the shipping information on the reverse where indicated.  Extraordinary delivery requirements may create additional delivery charges.

·          Signature is required.

·          It is your responsibility to inspect merchandise before delivery agent’s departure. If the merchandise appears to be damaged in any way, please note the damage on the freight bill.  This will aid in the return/replacement process or you may refuse the delivery.

Freight

Customer is responsible for all common carrier freight cost unless other arrangements are made at time of sale. Freight costs will be determined and paid at time of sale based on weight and destination.

Returns

Customer satisfaction is fully guaranteed.  If you, our Customer, need to make a return or exchange, we will gladly do so within 30 days within the receipt of merchandise. However, in the event that there are any missing items identified to you by us as on backorder, (multi-item orders only), this is not considered a valid reason for return of the whole shipment. Customers are to call within 24 hours of receipt of an order to expedite forwarding of any missing items not notified as on backorder. Items damaged or lost in transit are the sole responsibility of the carrier, so please notify and file a prompt claim with the carrier. We will be glad to assist you with any information needed to file a claim.

We gladly refund or replace any defective item and most non-defective items. Items are to be returned in their original packaging and (1) Are not used. (2) Do not have any missing parts, hardware or instructions. (3) Are not damaged due to incorrect assembly or handling. (4) Have the original manufacturer information (tags) attached to the items as shipped. Customers are to call the Customer Service Line: 352-596-4555, prior to returning any purchased items(s), to obtain a “return authorization number and shipping instructions”. Once your return has been received, an inspection conducted of the return, and it is verified that your return meets the above guidelines, a full refund will be issued. All applicable sales taxes will be refunded. The cost of the shipping back items deemed to be correctly ordered is the sole responsibility of the customer and may subject to a 20% or a minimum of $10.00, restocking charge. C.O.D. shipments will not be accepted. Items returned must conform to the shipping instructions received from Teak Tropical. Returned items incorrectly shipped by customers will not be returned. Items not purchased from Teak Tropical will not be accepted.

Cushions are considered custom made and may not be returned unless defective or incorrect, and only with advance written permission from Teak Tropical Inc. No refunds, exchanges only on cushion merchandise.

Guarantee

Teak Tropical Inc. guarantees furniture sold to the original purchaser is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase. All hardware attached to furniture is guaranteed as well to the original owner whether lost or broken.  Workable replacement hardware may be substituted if original is not available.

Buying Teak is an investment in quality furniture. It holds its value and ages to a classic silver over time when exposed to the sun. It routinely lasts 35 years or more as outdoor furniture. Small lines/cracks may appear as the wood ages this is called “checking” this is natural and not considered a defect. It will not impact the structure or serviceability of the furniture.
