TEAK TREATMENT 

TEAK TROPICAL, INC. has developed this amazing teak preservative treatment, which will enhance the natural beauty of your teak or other tropical hardwood furnishings. This new preservative is called PRESERVE-O.  When applied this extra layer of moisture-repellent will feed and protect the wood from nature’s harsh sun and weather.   

Our “Preserve-O” tropical hardwood treatment is made from natural oils, which feed the wood to keep and bring back the natural beauty.  The “Preserve-O” also contains special waxes, which feed and adds an extra barrier of moisture-repellent to protect the wood. 

As we have come to realize teak wood has long been acclaimed as the best choice for outdoor furnishings.  Due to its rich quality and classic design this natural hardwood is a sound investment.  Teak is simply the finest, most stable timber available for continuous outdoor use.  The natural oil in the teak wood makes it resistant to water, weather and warping, allowing the furniture to withstand season after season of durability, longevity and low maintenance.  In many cultures teak furnishings have been recognized as a symbol of affluence and luxury. 

Our line of teak furniture is all natural teak, grown on a working plantation and manufactured in Indonesia.  If you like the new look of your teak furniture, you may want to maintain that look with the application of Preserve-O once a year, or as needed.  If you prefer the classic elegance of aged wood, over time the teak will age to a soft silver color and small cracks may appear in the surface of the wood.  This process is an enhancement of the natural aging process.
